Safety Is Paramount To Day-to-day Survival
The mentality of safety, and what you must embrace
Look at yourself like a free safety in football. Your job is to be the last line of defense, and to handle any crisis that might arise on a given play. Maybe you are rushing up to the line of scrimmage to stuff the run. Perhaps it is up to you to cover the flanker that has blown by the cornerback. Either way, the defense is depending on you. It is similar to your efforts in implementing home safety tips for the whole family. This is a lot of responsibility, and includes each of the following areas:
- Financial safety. You have to be sure you are properly insured and can access cash in the event of a disaster.
- Your children's safety. Online and in person, your kids are vulnerable to predators. It's sad but true. Prepare.
- Your home's safety. Kitchens, swimming pools, bathrooms... they can all be deadly if you do not stay alert.
Do not be overwhelmed, however, because you can handle it. As the safety patrol chairman of 123 Elm Street, Anytown, USA, you will be in charge of an ongoing project that has no clear victory.
