Everything on our site is new! You can refer to our Home Safety Zone to find out more about our mission to make all families more aware of safety issues.

In this edition we have covered such important topics as bathtub safety and general bathroom safety. But we do not only touch upon the more obvious safety considerations. We find that proper safety procedures dealing with things like kitchen outlets and kitchen appliances can also help a great deal to control the number of accidents and deaths that occur each year in this country and around the world - things that could have been prevented and many that should have been.

It is up to all families to get the information they need to keep each other safe. Pay attention to the potential hazards in and around your home and do everything you can to eliminate them. If you have a pool, make sure the whole family is aware of the pool safety rules and also that the adults in the home enforce them. Things in the backyard need a good look as well and accidents occurring there can be kept to their absolute minimum by practicing proper backyard safety.
